Hmmm..what to say and where to start appears to be the 20 million dollar question. I'm a pretty busy person. I have a small business that is still in the fledgling stage, I decorate cakes part-time, and I'm raising a 6 year old and a 5 year old three weeks out of four every month. So when I have free time, I like to enjoy EVERY second of it! And that is where this comes in. I've been single for about three years now, and have discovered that all the things I love to do and try are SOOO much more enjoyable with a companion (LOL Go figure!!).
Let's see, it says to talk about my hobbies.. Well, I enjoy reading books of all kinds (except self-help because I really don't need to read about what might be wrong with me and what I should be doing about it). Music is fabulous. While I like a little of everything, mostly I listen to rock stations and will sing along quite loudly-when I'm all alone (apparently I lack skills). My kids told me the reason my car's cd player recently went on hiatus was it couldn't take my sing alongs anymore..LOL....Through those same kids I've learned to appreciate sports like tennis, swimming, basketball, and in-line skating. Skateboarding didn't go so well for me, so I tend to stay far, far away from that. I like to draw, and go to museums, and odd places. I'm always up for trying something new and different. You know what? It's easier to list what I don't enjoy. I do NOT get into hunting, monster trucks, wrestling, nascar, or local catfish fry's. This is, I realize, unfortunate, since I live in the south now.
Ok, on to my goals and aspirations. World peace? World domination? Who knows! I just go with the flow and try to enjoy each day for what it is. And as for something about myself and what makes me unique? Here it is in a nutshell..in a situation where you can either laugh or cry, I'm going to laugh 9 times out of 10, even if the people around me are looking at me absolutely appalled and starting to slowly inch away.
